We survived 2020!

Happy New Year to all the members of the New Jersey – Philadelphia & NE Pennsylvania Chapter of the NTMA

Good news – the end of the pandemic is in sight, the vaccine is coming, and by all accounts, the future of manufacturing is bright.  Whatever sectors of industry you serve, all of us, as manufacturers and suppliers, met the demands of the marketplace in 2020 and maintained some stability in the U.S. and Global economies.

Each year, at Betar, we choose a word of the year.  This year, I made the choice.  The word is Essential.  We, as manufacturers proved that we are essential, our workforce is essential, and investment in the future of the manufacturing workforce is essential.

The goal for 2021 centers around a renewed sense of membership and community within the chapter.  We have a new name that I feel better reflects our membership, and I am counting on everyone to get involved. Please, invite your manufacturing friends and colleagues to a meeting and to join the NTMA.  Whether through networking, workforce development initiatives, an abundance of resources and discounts, or the advocacy of One Voice, the NTMA is essential to us as manufacturers.

Thank you all for your continued commitment to the NTMA and to manufacturing.  I look forward to an exciting year.
