Happy Holidays from the NTMA!

Your NTMA Board wishes all of the members, their employees and families, a holiday season safely filled with family, friends and good cheer.

This has been a year full of challenges, and as an industry we adapted and rose to meet them. We embraced new technologies for communications, modified our processes for new markets and we persevered. Thank you all for your dedication to manufacturing, and to this great country.

We are very disappointed that the recent spike in Covid cases prevents us from hosting our annual holiday party.  It also looks like Covid will keep our meetings virtual for the next few months.  Please know that your board is working diligently to craft virtual meetings and newsletters that are timely, informative, and of interest and benefit to our members.  We value your input, so email uswith your suggestions.  We are also working on the 2021 Golf Tournament, and are getting ready for live, in-person meetings as soon as it is safe.

Thank you all for your commitment to our NTMA chapter and best wishes for the holiday season, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2021!

Patrick Cero

Introducing Michelle Martin (Laughlin), our long time Chapter Executive.

Michelle has worked at M&S Centerless Grinding since 2005.  She is currently the Director of Client Experience and Human Resource Manager, taking the culture and values of M&S to the next level with their customers, vendors and employees.  The ability to touch people’s lives on a daily basis keeps Michelle energized and excited about manufacturing in the 21st century.

Michelle has been our Chapter Executive for the past seven years and will continue serving our chapter in that role.  As C.E., Michelle tends to all of the details – planning our meetings, the annual golf tournament (no small feat!), communication with National, organizing Board meetings, paying the bills and balancing the books.  Her priority for 2021 is to help grow the chapter membership through her contacts and relationships with other advanced manufacturers.
